- Glazing and surface decoration – Techniques for applying glaze,painting and texturing surfaces.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS COURSE
TO INTRODUCE STUDENTS TO THE TECHNIQUES AND TOOLS OF POTTERY MAKING,ENABLING THEM TO CONFIDENTLY WORK WITH CLAY USING HAND-BUILDING AND WHEEL-THROWING METHODS.BY THE END OF THE COURSE,STUDENTS WILL HAVE CREATED A VARIETY OF SIMPLE FUNCTIONAL AND DECORATIVE CERAMIC PIECES AND WILL UNDERSTAND THE BASICS OF GLAZING AND KILN FIRING.
